Fully participating in society

Participating in society – To always be able to read and participate fully in society, even if you are blind or visually impaired or if you cannot read properly due to a condition. This is our mission and why we have been producing reading material in adapted reading formats such as braille for over 110 years. We believe that everyone should be able to continue reading. The CBB is committed to expanding the world of the blind and visually impaired. This includes producing books and magazines in appropriate reading forms: braille , large print, digital and audio. In addition to these existing reading formats and techniques, we are working hard to innovate, especially in the field of tactile graphics. This is how we would like to respond to the increasing demand for solutions to make communication tangible. This enables people with reading disabilities to continue reading.

The right to read is not limited to books and magazines. Accessibility is more than that. It includes Information in and about businesses and organizations, museums, hospitals and healthcare facilities. Increasingly, we at CBB are making information accessible to clients in tactile images, braille , large print and audio.
We can use these techniques for a menu in braille, a tactile floor plan, an information booklet, an inclusive puzzle and so much more.

Materials:

Among other materials, we print and print on paper, dibond, plastic, acrylic and aluminum. We provide customization that makes your message tangible. We are increasingly active not only in the Netherlands, but also abroad. On this website braille.nl you can see what is we can do for you so you too can fully participate in society.

The CBB is gearing up for a future filled with inclusive products and where accessibility in the broad sense of the word will play a major positive role in the lives of numerous social groups. One thing is certain: in whichever way you would like to read; the CBB is committed to making it happen.
